Junior Infants started learning about numbers this week. They really enjoyed the active learning involved here. Firstly, we learned the rhyme for number two formation and we watched a video from ‘Number Blocks’. The boys then took part in station activities. Station one focused on using marla to make the number two on the mat. Station two involved using pegs to make the number two on a pegboard. Station three focused on tracing the number two on whiteboards using a marker. The boys enjoyed rotating stations when they heard the classroom timer buzz on the interactive whiteboard.
