Junior Infants enjoyed some station activities recently during Phonics. The boys were working on diagraphs ch, sh, th and ng. One station involved making Lego towers for each of the four diagraphs and seeing which tower was the highest. The second station involved reading the word and placing it on the correct diagraph mat and the third station involved looking at the picture and placing the picture card on the correct phonics diagraph mat. The boys really enjoyed the collaborative learning and working as a team along with the active learning that took place during our phonics lesson. Have a look at all the fun below!
