This week Form 6 have been learning about 'The Eye' in our SESE lessons. We found out that ophthalmologists (eye surgeons) practice on grapes. So we decided to get some surgical tools and have a go for ourselves!
Using knives, scissors and our hands, we had to take the skin off a grape and take the pith off an orange segment. Some of us were very successful at skinning the peel off the grape and oranges and some of us will not be going into the medical profession!
Still, we had some great fun learning about the human eye and testing our steady hands!
