Form 6 and Form 6.1 participated in their Confirmation Retreat on Monday and Tuesday of this week. The Retreat was in some way a preparation for Confirmation which takes place at the end of the month, but all boys were welcome to participate.
After a short introduction to the day, the boys were split into two groups. Each group enjoyed different activities and changed over after lunch. The day consisted of games, reflective talk, drama and other fun activities. Each boy made a salt jar which represented the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their gifts. The boys dedicated it to someone that inspired them. These will be displayed on the altar on Confirmation Day.
The boys really enjoyed the day, and we want to say a special ‘Thank You!’ to Fr. Gus, David, Carol, Angie and Frank for planning this special occasion for the boys.
