The Junior Infants, Senior Infants and 2nd classes had a great day in Tuesday when they visited the K2 Alpaca Pumpkin Patch Experience in Newtown Mount Kennedy. The weather failed to damped the boys' spirits and a great time was had by all. The boys got to walk along a spooky fairy trail before playing a variety of Halloween themed games in the barn. The highlight of the day for most of the boys was the chance to meet and learn about the alpacas. The boys learnt lots of interesting facts about the alpacas and their natural habitat. After learning about the alpacas, the children got to choose their own pumpkin to take home. The visit to K2 Alpaca also contributed to a worthy cause, as half of all ticket sales were being given to Down Syndrome Ireland.
