Junior Infants have been working so hard this week on their fine motor skills to make our hands and fingers strong for writing. We worked with buttons to make the spiral patterns and put smarties on ice creams, we made our name out of paper pieces that we cut up and we used the pegs to make patterns on the pegboards- some boys even worked together to make a playground with the various coloured pegs. This was very impressive! We also did some lacing and threading with string around the edge of Autumn pictures which included a pumpkin, hedgehog and an acorn. We had so much fun doing these activities, we all really enjoyed developing our fine motor skills!
