On Saturday May 18th the boys of Form 2 and 2.1 made their First Holy Communion in the College Chapel. The Ceremony was fantastic and the boys read and sang beautifully. After the service the boys and their families made their way to the Junior School Hall where teas, coffees and cakes, as well as a party for the boys, was kindly put on by the 3rd class parents. The boys of Form 2 and 2.1 had a day to remember.
A big thank you to Father Augustine for conducting the ceremony, David Halpin our lay chaplain for helping to prepare the boys, Mrs. Deirdre Hughes for making up the Mass booklet and also to Maria Stanley and the St. Mary’s College Singers for the fantastic music.
