On Saturday 9th May, the boys in Form 2 and 2.1 celebrated a very special milestone as they made their First Holy Communion. It was a wonderful day filled with joy, prayer, music, and celebration.
The church looked beautiful as the children gathered with their families, teachers, and friends to take part in the ceremony. The pupils read prayers and readings confidently and sang beautifully throughout the Mass. Everyone was extremely proud of how respectful, thoughtful, and well-prepared the children were on such an important occasion.
The children had worked very hard over the past number of months preparing for their Communion. They learned prayers, songs, and the importance of the sacrament through their work in school and at home. Their dedication and effort truly shone through on the day.
A sincere thank you to all the parents and guardians for their continued support and encouragement throughout the year. Your help with preparing the children for this special sacrament was greatly appreciated.
Thank you also to the teachers, school staff, choir members, and parish team who helped make the day so memorable for everyone involved.
Congratulations once again to all the children in Form 2 and 2.1 on making their First Holy Communion. We hope they had a fantastic day celebrating with their families and friends and that they will always remember this very special occasion.
