Form 2.0 had quite a busy week completing exciting experiments! Firstly, we were racing toy cars, using magnets! We wanted to see if repelling a magnet or attracting a magnet would be faster, so we were moving our toy cars without touching them!
We also wanted to see what would happen to a balloon filled with water and a balloon filled with air when put over a candle. We made our predictions and found out that a balloon filled with air will pop and a balloon filled with water will not! This is because the water absorbs the heat, meaning the rubber doesn't weaken, whilst a balloon with air will pop because the rubber can not withstand the heat!
