Last Monday, Form 4 kicked off 'Friendship Week' with a whole school assembly on the theme of 'Friendship'. They started by saying that friendship can mean many things to different people and gave some examples of what friendship means to them. They spoke about good and bad friendships. They spoke about what qualities that make someone a really good friend. They mentioned qualities such as: kindness, respect, loyalty, patience and forgiveness to mention a few. The boys gave some examples of sayings about Friendship like: Good friends are like stars, you can't always see them but you know they are there'. The boys recounted the pledges they will put into practice so they can be a better friend in the future. These included: sharing their things, listening when someone is sad, including everyone in games, cheering on others, forgiving mistakes and so on. The boys finished with two poems on Friendship. The boys of Form 4 did a fantastic job of reminding us about the importance of friendship. Well done, Form 4!
