Form 5(1) News on Maths Week & Halloween

This week was maths week so we did a lot of fun stuff including us lifting up a pumpkin, guessing how much it weighed. Whoever guessed the closest won a homework pass and a sweet bag. We did a different maths game where we had to count all the internal (doors not leading outside) then we had to find out the schools phone number and add all of the numbers in it together and then find out how many kilometres are from Dublin to New Zealand and how long had the school secretary been in the school and the last one was to find out what year the school was founded. A prize was given to a boy in each class.

For Halloween Friday the 22nd of October we got to dress up. We raised €580 for Debra Ireland. There was a lot of cool costumes like werewolves, killer clowns, vampires, reapers and dead soccer players and rugby players! We decorated the class with vampires, ghosts, skeletons spiders. It looked scary.
