Learning our first sound- the letter 'S'

Junior Infants learned their first sound this week which was the letter 'S'. We learned all about this sound through songs, poems and various different interactive activities on the whiteboard including finger tracing the letter and clicking on the s letters.

We also made the letter 'S' using tinfoil and playdoh- this helped to work on our fine motor skills too.

We also made some lovely art by using crepe paper to design the colour 'S' with lovely bright colours. We also made the letter S by using buttons to make a pattern. We all really enjoyed these activities and we can't wait to learn all the letters of the alphabet!
