Our school recently enjoyed a fantastic celebration of Seachtain na Gaeilge, filled with fun activities, music, games, and plenty of Gaeilge spoken throughout the week.
The pupils took part in a wide variety of activities to help promote and celebrate the Irish language in an enjoyable and engaging way. From cluichí Gaeilge and quizzes to singing songs and learning new phrases, there was great excitement around the school each day.
One of the highlights of the week was a very special visit from Cillian from Coláiste na bhFiann. The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the interactive activities and games he organised. Cillian encouraged everyone to use their Gaeilge with confidence and made learning Irish fun for all the pupils.
The boys and girls loved participating in the energetic workshops and were delighted to practise their conversational Irish in a relaxed and positive environment. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and enjoyment for the Irish language throughout the week.
A huge thank you to Cillian and Coláiste na bhFiann for visiting our school and helping to make Seachtain na Gaeilge such a memorable experience for everyone.
Well done to all the pupils for making such a fantastic effort to speak Gaeilge and take part in all the celebrations. Bhí seachtain iontach againn!
