The Titanic projects by Form 4.1

Form 4.1 really enjoyed learning all about The Titanic this week. We completed projects in groups during iPad time. We were intrigued about the length of this ship recording 269m and got very creative by designing projects to match our height by adding lots of facts!! We also learned lots about Francis Browne who was a passenger on The Titanic but got off the ship in Cork before its maiden voyage to America. It was interesting to learn that the pictures he took on the Titanic with his first camera travelling from Southampton to Cobh were used to create scenes and footage in the film 'The Titanic' and also the black and white photographs in our English Lift Off textbook are based on the photographs he took on board the ship.
