The Water Cycle

11-January-24
The Water Cycle

The boys in Forms 2 and 21 have been looking at the water cycle. They looked at how water evaporates up from a water source, cools and condenses to form clouds and then when the clouds become too heavy, release the water as either rain, sleet or snow (precipitation). To show how the water cycle works, the boys created their own mini-environment using a ziplock bag, markers, water and blue food dye. They selo-taped their ziplock bags to a window and will hope to observe the water evaporating, condensing and then precipitating by using the heat from the sun.
