Golf Outing
At the start of the year, lots of people started playing golf on Friday afternoons. This was to see who would be on the golf team. When you showed up to golf you would be awarded 10 points. If you won you would get 20 points, 19 for second and 18 for third. After 10 rounds, the four people who were chosen to represent St. Mary's College Junior School were Cillian Nash, Freddie Moore, Alex Crossan and Moss Sheehan.
On Monday, 29th of May 2023, the four of us, as well as 10-15 other schools played in the Schools Castle Cup. This took place in the Castle Golf Club in Rathfarnham. We arrived at 7:15am. Firstly, our team were registered. Then we played the nine holes. We all played against boys from different schools across Leinster.
After the golf, we got changed into our school uniform and went up to the clubhouse for food. It was an enjoyable day out and we were proud to represent our school.
